Enerdealers' background

Four decades of a family legacy in the energy industry

2026

We continue our journey with strong prospects for growth and expansion, strengthening our energy commodities trading operations across both local and international markets. At Enerdealers, we are committed to delivering value through expertise, agility, and a global perspective—and we look forward to growing together.

2025

Enerdealers began its international trading activities by operating in major global ports, including Rotterdam, Houston, Fujairah, and Jurong, through FOB transactions. The company also completed its first CIF transactions in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, while continuing CIF operations across Europe.

These operations reflect the long-standing relationships maintained by Enerdealers’ principals with a network of refineries in Poland, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and the Middle East, combined with an extensive and well-established global buyer network.

During this period, Enerdealers expanded and consolidated its worldwide sales network, establishing commercial operations teams across Asia, Eurasia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Latin America, the United States, and Canada.

A key milestone in this expansion was Enerdealers’ participation in the Spain–Azerbaijan Business Forum on March 11, 2025, which resulted in the signing of a commercial agreement with F-Holding. This agreement laid the foundations for cooperation between the two companies and marked Enerdealers’ entry into the Euro-Asian region.

2024

In December 2024, Enerdealers expanded its brand into the Middle East through a franchise agreement with local entrepreneurs, establishing operational support in Dubai. This strategic move allows Enerdealers to capitalize on its extensive expertise in commodities trading, with a strong specialization in energy products within the oil and gas sector, reinforcing its international presence and operational capabilities.

Backed by international investment, Enerdealers initiated its CIF commodity trading operations in Europe, prioritizing the consolidation of a trusted supplier network, along with a robust financial and banking structure, to support the company’s future growth and expansion.

2023

The long-standing relationships with both sellers and buyers led to the creation of Enerdealers, with the objective of consolidating a multigenerational legacy while continuing to serve our loyal, long-standing clients through a structure adapted to current market needs and evolving supply models.

Enerdealers’ founding team brings extensive entrepreneurial experience across multiple industries, with a particular focus on the energy sector. This background enables us to deliver comprehensive and strategic solutions, including logistics, import and export, and wholesale services for both traditional (hydrocarbon) and sustainable (renewable) fuels, supporting both buying and selling operations.

In parallel, Diana Gispert, co-founder and CEO of Enerdealers, continues to represent the family within the Retailgas Group, which specializes in the management and maintenance of energy-related assets, such as service stations, storage terminals, biofuel plants, and solar farms.

Today, the Retailgas Group (www.retailgas.com) comprises three companies:

  • Retailgas S.A., providing end-to-end solutions for the design, construction, and maintenance of assets.

  • Retain Technologies, delivering software solutions focused on the digital transformation of asset lifecycle management through Building Information Modeling (BIM).

  • LLR Legalizations, managing licenses and regulatory approvals on behalf of its clients.

2022

Over the years, the founding team of Enerdealers has been actively involved in projects related to the acquisition of hydrocarbon and energy-related assets, the management of strategic storage contracts, port services, and logistics agreements with the Exolum Group (formerly CLH) —a Spanish multinational providing transportation and storage services for petroleum products through Spain’s public pipeline network. The team has also developed strong international relationships with refineries outside the European Union.

All these activities have been carried out within the applicable regulatory framework governing hydrocarbon distribution in Spain, which requires government-licensed operators to ensure the supply of products to end customers, including fuel station networks and large road-transport logistics groups.

Key areas of focus have included:

Market Analysis
Benchmarking and market analysis aimed at improving operational efficiency across wholesale petroleum products, including the identification of logistical, administrative, and procurement-related challenges.

Storage
Securing storage capacity at Spanish ports and managing product imports, involving close collaboration with independent storage terminals—particularly those connected to Exolum—resulting in strong, long-term relationships across the sector.

Product Importation on Behalf of Clients
Ensuring full compliance of imported products with European Union regulations and Exolum technical specifications. This has provided in-depth expertise in Spanish hydrocarbon regulatory requirements, including CORES obligations, energy efficiency regulations, excise duties, biofuel mandates, and related compliance frameworks.

Sales Operations
Supplying products to fuel distribution groups, independent service station networks, and cooperatives. This includes purchasing from wholesale operators, managing transportation and Exolum loading codes, and coordinating distribution to multiple destinations throughout Spain.

Pricing Management
Daily monitoring of supplier pricing, discount application, product price analysis, payment management, and efficient order execution, ensuring cost control and minimizing operational risk.

2019

Retain Technologies is set up. The company develops digital tools designed to improve the efficiency of productive investment lifecycles. These solutions help organizations extend the useful life of their assets, increase availability, and ensure full compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

By combining deep sector expertise with data-driven analysis, we create applications that enhance asset performance while supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic planning and control.

Today, Retain Technologies has expanded its services beyond gas station asset management. In the oil and gas sector, the company works with leading clients such as Repsol, Cepsa, Q8, and Carrefour. In addition, it serves the VIPS Group in the food service industry, managing assets across more than 1,000 stores—including brands such as Starbucks, VIPS, and Ginos—operating in Spain and Mexico.

During this period is also created LLR Legalizations, as a brand and business division of Retailgas S.A. that provides technology and services to efficiently manage the legal lifecycle of assets, from design and construction to ongoing maintenance.

LLR Legalizations supports clients, contractors, developers, and engineering firms in securing all necessary licenses during the design and construction phase. In the maintenance phase, it ensures ongoing compliance for companies managing extensive asset portfolios, providing timely responses to regulatory requirements.

2013

Diana Gispert joined the family business in 2013, working with  –and often directly at–  the client gas stations, being involved in the minutiae of all aspects of their needs, including  –importantly– representing them in negotiating the yearly forward contracts for their product supply needs.  As a result of this, she was exposed early on to the mechanics of negotiating with the refineries and their representatives in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and elsewhere. In addition, she acted as outside consultant for many of the main players in this sector in Spain.

2010

In 2010, AG Ambiental S.L. was acquired by the HERA Group, a leader in the integrated management of waste and environmental resources. HERA views waste as a valuable resource with significant potential for reuse and recovery, enabling the production of new materials, energy, regenerated raw materials, space, and hydrocarbons.

2008

The venture capital fund Nexxus Iberia acquired a 51% stake in Retailgas S.A., assuming control of the company and supporting a strategic plan focused on growth, diversification, and long-term value creation. This investment strengthened Retailgas S.A.’s financial position, accelerated the expansion of its operations, and enabled the development of new business lines, while reinforcing its governance and organizational structure.
